If Stafford gets traded before June 1 the Rams would be hit with $74M in dead money and take a cap hit of $54M.

As it is the Rams are carrying $45.27M in dead money from the moves they already made. If they did this their dead money would be $109.27M ... and they'd have to cut another $56M from this year's cap just to be legal (since they're still a couple mil over, according to overthecap.com)

I'm at a loss to even guess how they might do that.
