Not only was it SO ridiculously obvious the Rams should have taken Hopkins in that Draft. But what made it worse is that the Rams gave up the 16th and 46th picks to get up to #8 for Austin. Where as they could have traded down 4-8 spots and STILL landed Hopkins.

They could have had him for a 2nd round pick from the Texans or whatever pittance AZ gave up to get him.

That is the gift that keeps on giving.

The Isiah Pead Fiasco, the Tavon Austen fiasco, the Jayson Smith/Greg Robinson Fiascos and the Creed Humphrey fiascos all belong in the Draft Hall of Shame.
