Very good point. I also wonder if the Rams are trying to create an out if Stafford goes down.

Lets be real....Last season, he was getting elbow injections in August and was 2 for 2 with concussions during his last two starts. I'm glad Stafford is back for 2023 but the Rams will be on BIG TIME egg shells at the QB position. I can see the Rams getting a Solid QB this year to back Stafford and then aiming for the long term future in the 2024 Draft.
