Jourdan shared a lot of great stuff on her IG story today:
One nugget stood out in that she thinks Rams should trade Robinson. Can't imagine there's much of a trade market for him? What could they get? A 7th, a conditional pick in 2024? Any cap guys know what the implications would be?
She seems to suggest then that the TE position could pick up the slack, perhaps more of a shot for Hopkins but also they need to think ahead for after Higbee and this draft class while historically bad has supposedly the best TE class in it in 10 years and there would be a shot they could pick up a plug-and-play TE there.
Deep TE draft class?
$6.75 million cap saving if Higbee is a June 1st cap cut?
If Hopkins is ready to go as a 2023 starter (in case a rookie couldn't get up to speed) that might be the move to make, IMO.
