I wouldn't trade him. But, I wouldn't have signed him in the first place. There are reasons they signed the guy. They liked his size and ability to catch jump balls in the EZ. He did catch a TD on a jump ball in the corner of the EZ when I last went to a game. With a good throw the play is indefensible. He is a good WR.
Maybe not worth the contract, but he could be a strong #2. He is not a blazer who can get open in under two secs. He is a basketball player in cleats with good hops and hands. If we use him wisely we can benefit from his skills. Stafford didn't look his way because he had no time to throw and he knew CK would get open and catch the throw. Can't blame him.
ARob had almost no throws early on. Then, he had some and usually caught those targets and then he got hurt. I would call it a red shirt year for the Rams. He will know the system. He will know the expectations and hopefully with a better OL his QB will have more time to hook up with him. Trading him makes no sense to me. If we trade him who is our #2? #3? VJ is currently our #3. SKOW is #4 and TTA is #5.
Maybe we could get Woods to come back, but what would that contract look like? VJ and SKOW were both injured. TTA had some nice games but is still very green. Are we again drafting WRs? I hope not.
