Since 2018 or so, college LBs have proven that they can be smaller, and better in coverage, without losing their ability to be effective against the run or blitzing.
So ... under 230? Not an issue. Under 6 feet? Not an issue.
The article mentions Dee Winters ... who should be a top 100 draft pick but who could slide easily because of plentiful talent at the position. It's likely he makes my "Top 2 rounds" list. He's on the bubble and the combine should put him over.
To note, guys like Malcolm Rodriguez (Who I was pushing last year) are now a commodity, and they can be had late.
Makes sense that we didn't want to stay with Wags ... because the position is too easily filled. And I'd rather fill it with younger players unless a vet basically comes here for free.
