can go out and pick an incompetent person to replace him. IMO Samples was just over his head, it's different transferring ideas and communicating with guys who are pros and those in college. Kind of like Coen....he was great with UK kids, floundered in the pros....We lost a big piece with Thomas leaving, don't know how much Lafluer brings, but I think I know how much the panthers are getting, the question is can he make that next step....Thomas has IMO the Bienemy feel to me without the baggage......
A guy can easily make the mistake that Brown made with Samples, you give a guy a chance because of what he has on paper but when the paper hits the road it can be a different outcome....some guys do well in college over pros...happens a lot.....it happens with players a lot...it can happen also with the coaches.....
