At the time they were "developed" subsequent to beling let go. At the time Stan Kroenke wanted immediate impact players for the initial SB for his So Fi. He was not in a "developing" state of mind. Of course it paid off with a win over the Bengals in the SB. But the bill collector came to the door last year and likely will keep ringing the doorbell for some time.
