They don't need to use a 2nd round pick on a center. Of course I'd be all for Schmitz if he was there. Or maybe they draft a center after trading back 10-15 spots from #36. Or at #69. But they also can't just spend a late 6th or 7th on the position either.
I also still think about a guy like Tyler Biadasz, who I really liked in the 2020 Draft. He went with the final pick (146th overall) of the 4th round to Dallas. The Rams had taken Brycen Hopkins 10 picks earlier... Biadasz was widely considered one of the top 125 players in that Draft and has been very good overall for Dallas since.
Draft a center somewhere in the top 150 overall.
