They've had literally 30 years of MVP caliber QB play. (Including 321 straight starts from Favre)
They haven't drafted him a WR until this year after they traded Davante Adams, which he didn't know was happening. They drafted a QB without telling him.
If they're lucky, which they have been, they'll circle the drain without him and end up being able to draft a QB high next year. But I'm actually pulling for them to learn a decade's worth of lessons.
As far as his behavior ... the idea that business uses players the way it does breaks my basic principles ... "as an end in and of themselves and never merely as a means" .... they've been treating Rodgers as a means, so I'm not at all surprised he's rebelled ... pretty natural.
That's why I like the way the Rams handle their players. They're people first.
