I disagree. I think it speaks more about McVay's reluctance/refusal to promote to a Coordinator position from within, something I believe he has yet to do. When I think about the fact that McVay could have promoted Thomas Brown to Offensive Coordinator last year but instead he gave the job to Liam Cohen (who didn't exactly light it up and left after one season in the job), I get a bit chafed. I suppose he has his reasons, but I don't get it.
