Akers and Johnson have similar builds so they are about the same physically.

Johnson is hungry and has never gotten a real chance to be the man at any point of his career. He puts in the work and he won't be a headache like Cam as all Johnson has ever done was come in for the starter when called apon. He is a true teammate.

He does not have a fumble problem and will not break the bank like Cam could if he has a decent year and the Rams look to sign him to a second contract after this season.

In the small sample sizes he performed in Cleveland, he exploded in the three games he started. You could not tell if that was Chubb or not because Johnson looked just as dominant. Check out his starts on YouTube, you'll see what I mean.

If we can add Johnson and keep Akers, that's a win/win as well, imo.
