A good OC doesn't necessarily equate to a good HC

February 13, 2023 06:21AM
HC is an entirely different job than being a co-ordinator. It means much greater management skills, handling the media, personnel decisions, roster decisions, as well as dealing with the player problems that those below the HC have been unable to resolve....the really tough stuff. Setting an entire tone and philosophy for the team. Being able to articulate it. OCs and DCs do not have to do this, or at least they don't to any great degree.

Not saying I have any idea about Bienemy. But when a guy like him has been passed over so many times, you have to wonder if there is doubt at the ownership and team President level that he has those qualifications.
