Pretty sure i've mentioned before... I love the game of football. So when the Super Bowl is on I'm INTO it, even if the Ram's are not. It's the goal, after all... I have reverence for it. Thus:
I couldn't care less about all the 'other'... I don't watch the commercials... I pace waiting for the game to continue. Almost never watch the halftime show.... last one I saw was Kate Perry? Is that her name? I only watched that one because my daughters said I had to and I'd love it.... well I watched, but the entire time I was thinking, "geez is this ever going to end so I can get back to the game".
For what it's worth... I suggest to anyone reading this to NOT be like me... enjoy the show, the commercials, all the hoopla... it's a major spectacle... one needs to separate the two... the hoopla and the game. I can't.
Unfortunately I think my grandsons are taking after me... even worse actually. They all played football so they don't like 'watching'. The like playing. They watch youtube highlights mostly, not full games. They're up on things... I think they know every player in the league.... but watching a game? They want to play the game. - JamesJM
