I think I don't completely disagree.

But I also don't think it matters.

Looking at the philosophy behind employment under capitalism... dignity and humanity are not a priority.

You have x to offer a company in most cases ...
This includes your expertise, but is much more about your time, well being, peace of mind, etc.

I remember a social media post where it was mentioned that CEOs can get found crying because they're under so much pressure.
The rebuttal was that most people at every job level have lost their mind to stress and broken down in tears at some point. And we aren't making millions.

In the NFL you are selling your body. You are selling your health and youth and risking injury.
The reality ? Yeah, it's an auction for livestock. This is the present day version of gladiators ...

Might we want to make it better? Sure. Try to humanize it more? Have questions in interviews be monitored ? Yes.

But I don't think we're kidding ourselves.
Most of work in life is humiliating and soul crushing without making millions of dollars.
