Was watching a YouTube video about the Sea of Hands game between Miami and Oakland in 1974. Csonka said "we'd played in the Super Bowl the three years before that and all those extra games add up on your body." This was when they played 17 games maximum.

The Rams spent weeks celebrating their Super Bowl win while the rest of the League was already preparing for this season. Add the losses of Big Whit and Von Miller and OBJ.
