Mims reminds me a lot of Rivers. Better runner between the tackles, but not as elusive. Both he and Rivers are good receivers. Have to give the edge to Rivers as a blocker, despite his lack of size. Mims looks like one of those guys the 49ers draft late and turn into a productive back.
Moreno-Cropper reportedly had a good week of practice. Smooth route runner with good hands. Probably needs to add a little to his frame.
Remigio didn't play in the game. Probably a UDFA who could fit as a KR/slot receiver. Good hands and not scared to catch the ball in the middle of the field. Very productive in his one year at Fresno after transferring from Cal.
Kaz Allen (UCLA) is another KR/slot player. Blazing speed. Game announcers said he might run in the 4.2 range. Went to the same high school as I did (Tulare Union). Set the state record for TDs and won the state 100 meter dash after not running track until late in his senior year.
