To be fair, Shotty did coordinate an excellent running game with the Shehawks. He was already involved w the offensive staff...the problem is that they lost the most creative mind in the room (Kellen Moore)to go pure old school power run/play action and take advantage of teams built to defend the Shanny/McVay proliferation throughout the league. The notion has merit on that level. Where it disintegrates is that self destruction is in their DNA. It's so obvious that it exists but nobody seems to know the real source (though most blame Jerry, that's too lazy to be the complete picture since Jerry doesn't jump offsides or throw interceptions). McCarthy will be more completely exposed as the has been he is now. Reminds me of the Shaw dysfunction Rams.

Yup. Shotty's strength seems to be with the run game coordination and not so much play calling so no big news here. He will be mainly in the background where he belongs.

Jerry is so out of touch but doesn't realize it. In his own mind, he is still the genius that won those SB's back in the 90's! It's amazing how that team has been the model of mediocrity for SO long and are still called "America's team".
