Perfect fit and 36 would've been perfect for him. Now we're on the outside looking in. He'll push someone down a spot at least. As much as I love him, there's prospects at more important positions that I'd rather have. If he falls to us I'll be happy. If he pushes another dream pick one spot down to us then I'm happy with that too.
Creed could have been had at 57, RR! That’s what’s so unforgivable. A colossal draft mistake, possibly of the decade.
But that was then and this is now. This Schmitz kid seems like a virtual sure thing with very little risk. Great value, IOW.
31 other teams passed on Creed once and 25 passed twice. And how many teams passed Tom Brady multiple times? I too wanted Humphrey and posted such frequently at the time. I've continued to complain. I personally feel the Rams owe me this pick.
Sadly, my entitled fandom is not a factor here. The Rams selected AD when I thought the D Line didn't need help. They selected Lawrence Phillips and I had such high hopes. I was disappointed by the selection of a second round and a third round WR because I didn't know much about them. But Isaac Bruce and Cooper Kupp turned out better than I expected.
In other words, I might crow about the times I was right and the Rams were wrong, but the converse is the norm.
