The closest next leader #2 is Bobby Wagner and by his physical presence and on the field cache AD is the #3 Leader on our defense.
Rams have struggled after letting leaders go. They want to remodel then Ramsey, Wagner and Donald would seem to be untouchables.
Funny thing when everything was about "win now" and "all in" no one would whisper this but now that many see the reality and what remains of our all in culture they are basically saying tear it down. Well we can tear it down but there will be no instant fix.
They are going to have to train and develop and let the leaders lead. They are going to have to gut it out and be patient with youth.
Aaron Rogers didn't embrace that and he reaped the fruit of his entitled and leisure approach to the season and his teammates.
Jalen Ramsey is not that guy he is not wired to back down or to miss and opportunity to get better and make his team better. He and Wagner were beast to the end pushing to elevate themselves and their teamates. If that is what anyone wants to let go of then they can go ask Rogers and the Packers, "how did that taste?"
