Staley's originally wanted O'Connell, but McVay blocked that, so Lombardi was his second choice and I knew if Staley was staying his OC would fall. Frank Reich could head in this direction, he would have total autonomy calling the plays and would get the opportunity to work with one of the top 5 QB's in the NFL. This could also be an opportunity for Georgia's OC Todd Monken, if he truly wants to leave college, you're not going to get any better opportunity than the Chargers IMHO.
