I'll be the first to say that Chargers should in general run the ball more in general since I like Ekeler and Kelley.
So, I do find it funny what Leoram posted where Charger fans wanted to throw the ball more instead of run.
Maybe the Chargers should have ran the ball more against the Jaguars.
At the same time, maybe their Defense should have stopped the Jaguars offense.
Using the tale of two halves logic you are employing... one can easily then say.. well, Chargers should have held the Jaguars to zero points in the second half.
Bottom line is... there is no right answers.. just opinions. And opinions are always right to the person that is giving the opinion.
Had the Chargers defense held up, then there is no discussion about the offense. You can angle the argument this way as well.
Bottom line is that they lost and there are probably many reasons why that are inter-related. Vs the typical arguments here that are focused on a singular aspect of the game. No one has the keys to a Bizarro world of "what ifs" to fully know if changes people are suggesting would have really worked. You run the ball more, you eat the clock, but then fumble and let Jaguars score points and then eventually win the game. I guess Bizarro World #2 would say.. yeah, don't run the ball more.
No one knows what could have been and so no one can state an opinion as fact.
