Personally, I think McVay would be well advised to get away from his 11 personnel sets a little bit. League wide D’s are now specifically designed to smother them.

Find a couple of suitable TE’s and run more 12 sets would be advantageous.

Also, might want to consider getting a FB for today’s O.

Maybe road grader OL types rather than the quicker zone blockers?

It really wouldn't be the "McVay" offense, would it? Might as well get someone else to call the plays who knows how to use 12 personel, FB's and "road grader" OL better than McVay.

I just don't see McVay doing what you ask. It would change his whole offensive approach. I don't think he wants to do that. After all, he went to 2 SB's using "his" offense so I am sure he thinks he can do it again. He just needs better talent to pull it off IMO.
