I agree with the general premise that it doesn't need a total overhaul. But at the same time it is not just about reshuffling the current group either. They have pieces, no question. But they need to add talent as well.
Noteboom and Allen are big question marks that would set a lot in motion. You cut them both and save $4.5M in cap space while eating $17.2M... Trading one or both would be better but no one is trading for Noteboom with that contract and coming off a major injury.
But overall with Jackson, Havenstein, Shelton, Anchrum, Brewer and Bruss and Arcuri they do have at least several starters plus several backups. Add a quality free agent and draft an OL with one of their top two selections and you'd have 9 OL to fight for several starting jobs and the backup spots.
I'm not totally against at least bringing Noteboom and Allen into camp but they definitely can't count on them as starters given their injury histories. And if they make the final roster that's some pretty expensive backups... But maybe you hold onto them for now to guard against injuries and release one or both in late August- or trade one then.
