I'm a very staunch supporter of being process oriented vs results oriented. I dunno mcvay's process so it's hard to say, but it has birthed many successful seasons so I think the answer is yes. Not many coaches make it as long as Mcvay so he's unique in that sense too. I know there are tomlins in the league but most coaches get fired by year 5. So basically what I'm saying is, Mcvay being a winner makes him the best option for the rams to me. Grass ain't always greener and such.
