Yeah, I would not shop him now. If a BIG offer came along they'd have to consider it. But I would rather be able to keep him and consider a possible move for 2024.
I agree. Rams need as much draft ammunition for 2024 to make a run at one of the top QBs coming out then.
Bring in Kingsbury and Fangio to be OC and DC respectively and make one more run at a title in 2023.
I am sure McVay after next season will play his should I or should I not drama again. Then it is time to rebuilt.
Go RAms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What has Kingsbury actually done to deserve all these accolades?
Was it his superb handling of QB’s at Texas Tech?
Or his stellar achievements with the Cards?
Frankly, I wouldn’t touch him as OC here with a 10 foot pole.
Furthermore, I hope McVay does not make one single ‘friends’ hire this year. There is a fabulous article in the Athletic about the ‘genius’ hiring conducted by Brian Daboll of the Giants last year. I hope McVay reads it before diving in.
Well, I understand where you are coming from 43 and I partially agree with you. Making a hire just to give a favorite to one of your buddies most of the time will blow up in your face. Many times it has cost the own job down the road.
But Kinsbury IMHO is a good offensive mind AND has McVays trust. If both guys share the same offensive philosophy the trust factor should not be underestimated IF McVay wants to delegate more , giving up play calling maybe.
I think that relatinship could work very well .
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
