Evans should have never made the team. He was horrendous in preseason too. They don't list him because he was not expected to be anything but a backup and again, I will never for the life of me understand why teams put a premium on playing time during the regular season. McVay said that about Evans, "He's had quite a bit of playing time for us." Again, even though he sucked, he played & started. That will never cease to amaze me with that theory.
In other words, he sucked, but he's proven he can go out and suck each and every week. We have others, that we don't know how they will respond. But if a guy stinks, he stinks, why not try somebody else even thought they never played a down during the regular season.
