It's very hard to predict how teams will shake out from one year to the next. Teams that 'shouldn't' win do (Seahawks, Giants) and those that 'should be good' sometimes aren't (Rams, Broncos). I agree that the NFC is weaker this year than the AFC. And may be next year as well. It's the old danger of projecting past outcomes onto future events. Or as Mort liked to say 'that's why they play the games'. Did anyone see our total collapse this year - last offseason? Will we bad again next year because we were bad this year? Who knows.
