OHHHHHHHH!!! The Wire!!!!
I loved that series. I am very jealous of anyone who is currently discovering it for the first time. It was really hyped up to me by friends before I watched it. It took me a few episodes before I totally bought in, so I was questioning the reviews. However, once I was hooked I became obsessed.
EDIT (more of an addendum really) I have been knees deep in Columbo since stay at. home started. Years ago my brother bought me seasons 1 and 2. I rewatched those in March, and have since ordered up to season 7. So campy in some ways and very dated in almost every way, but I love it. I was tempted to start a Columbo thread. I still might.
