Maybe 180 miles south of me but a straight shot through no cities and no traffic. State of the art... Kern County... and they have NASCAR sanctioned races almost weekly during the racing season. I've been to several, and enjoyed it a lot, (I love auto racing)... but I still prefer the short track... like the ΒΌ mile track you mentioned... be it dirt or pavement.
World Of Outlaws is coming soon... I think April 3, to Tulare California... I almost never miss them when they tour Ca. but not always in Tulare. Love those guys, one hell of a show if you haven't seen them. - JamesJM
