Beatles and EJ, imo, write the best melodies in rock music.. or even music, period.. crazy good stuff.. When I was 4 years old I saw the Beatles movie HELP and I knew right then and there I wanted to be a musician.. Big Beatles fan growing up, but more of the older stuff, as opposed to the newer Beatles, at the time..
Of course, never saw them , or even any of them individually, but did see a VERY good tribute band a couple of years ago with a massive stage show.. they went through every iteration of the Beatles, which was pretty cool.. In seeing what Ringo was doing, I actually had an "Aha!" moment in regards to his brilliance in playing exactly what the song needed.. Simplistic drummer, but man he played some cool stuff..
