Production Update #4..

I think I have the structural stuff all done - with the exception of cutting a bottom.. I do have the material: 1/8" black erasable chalkboard.. Should match the rest of it perfectly, but I gotta do all the interior stuff first..
Next up is mounting light strips inside.. not exactly sure how to do it as I want the strips to face upward and the sticky side is on the other side of the strips.. Anyone have any ideas, feel free to share 'em.. I MIGHT also put strips on top on the outside, which will be easy to mount.. but, I really want them inside the box, primarily..
After that just gotta drill all the holes for the wiring and run the wires.. for those guitarists out there, I'm using a 9V adaptor and running a daisy chain power line from the first effect to all the other effects to power them.. One adaptor, one daisy chain line that powers all 6 effects.. The Line 6 wireless receiver uses a different adaptor, so hafta have its adaptor inside the box, as well.. there is also an adaptor for the black lights.. So, a 110 line in with 3 plugs on it for all 3 adaptors, the daisy chain line and the interior lighting.. then the bottom gets screwed on.. I did buy a 6 foot extension cord (black) with 3 plugs - I'll have to cut it to feed the line through the side of the pedal board, use a romex connector to lock it into place, and splice the plugs back to the plug-in.. thats what I did on my existing board, so no sweat..
Exterior needs the corner trim pieces, then I hafta cut the velcro for each effect - each effects gets two strips of velcro.. not using the cloth-like velcro.. there's a plastic type that has rods that insert into spaces - something like that.. its sturdier than the cloth velcro.. Each effect has to be meticulously places as some have jacks on the tops and some have jacks on the sides.. the side jack effects need to be further apart in order to be able to plug them in and unplug them.. the top jack effects can almost be butted up next to each other - maybe 1/4" between them..
