I have several.... I can do that because I never follow the rules.
But I DO have a reason for that. There is a lot to a music concert.... the music, obviously... but also perhaps your age, your enthusiasm, your emotional state at the time, etc. etc.
So I am going to make up my own categories, feel free to do the same.
For WOW they are great musicians - Bela Fleck and the Flecktones in Hanford, Ca.
For my Hippie era - The Mama's and the Papa's at the Fillmore West 1967
For Ambience - Keiko Matsui, Coombs Ranch near Fresno
For Crazy Greatness taking my son to see Motley Crue, Fresno.
For Being Part Of The Show - opening for Santana (before they were nationally famous) 60's
For Celebrating Music with My Dad and Mom - Fats Domino, Reno.
For Actually Dancing In Front Of The Stage (I never do that, except this once) - Brian Bromberg Coombs Ranch, Fresno
For Hearing Perhaps My All Time Favorite Song - Dave Koz (many venues)
For Being "Wow'd" when I didn't think I would be - Elvis Presley, Fresno - tied with John Denver also in Fresno
Best Showman - Elton John, Frankfurt, Germany
Most Amazing Vocal Performance - Lydia Pense of Cold Blood... Fresno, (70's)
I could go on but instead I'll add just one more - Best For Only Saw Them Play One Song - Led Zeppelin - Monmouth, NJ. (Explanation - we couldn't get away from Base in time and got to the concert so late we only heard one song... it was worth it).
