Musta been fun to have these cats come to your town.....we had to go either to Charleston WV, or Roanoke VA. to see shows. Of course some of the lure for us was that ride to the show. If I was in charge we'd be riding in my '62 Chevy SS with a 409 rumblin' 100 miles away. If not it was a bud who drove a '71 Torino, or a guy in a '55 Chevy......funny how cars are hot where ever you come from....at least back then.
Yea most of if not all those days were like $7 ......and gas was maybe 35-45 cents? Too far back to really say for sure. And yes that Kiss concert only had Seger ridding with them....We took in Nugent as well, Aerosmith a couple times, ZZ, Boston, Thin Lizzy (my favorite) and others....but the trip to the show was one hell of a ride....trip back....maybe a bit on the suck side.....
The things we did riding down the highway....well sometimes I am amazed I am here to vaguely remember them......
