Always soft spoken , standing at 6'5
The community is losing one of it's greatest members
Leonard , a WWII vet , Army Air Corps , first trained as a glider pilot , later trained as a Radar /Radio operator , which probably explained his interest in electronics
heres the kicker , he had two brothers , one was the local electrician , the other was a electrical appliances dealer ,( fridges , stoves , washer dryers , stuff like that )
so back in the 50's60's and 70's , if you needed something electrical , you either went through Leonard or one of his two brothers , but usually all three , talk about a local monopoly .....................LOL
Always an active member in community and the American Legion , he was the guest speaker at the Memorial Day services this past Memorial Day
A man I've truly respected and admired , even if he did always kick me out of his shop when I was a kid...................lol
Leonard with his brother Everett , he was the appliance guy ( Leonard on the right )
This past weekend at the estate sale , thats his two daughters kneeling on both sides of him , the rest are cousins
the tall blonde in the back is Sue F , a year older then me and played on our girls state basketball championship team
looking at here facebook page , she has a couple pictures of the team one of my younger sisters played on , I might have to post those pictures as well...............LOL
