Unfortunately, I think this is the new norm. My son and his family were camping outside of Banff this last week and could not see the mountains due to the fires in Montana. Our ocean is changing too. Last week the water surface temperature out at San Clemente Island was 80 degrees ! We are seeing fish on our coast that we used to only see in lower Mexico and Hawaii. Mooring docks that at low tide required you to walk a steep downhill to get to a boat are now just a straight walk. Our favorite little beach town Cayucos will be affected sooner or later.
