I was going to see him and blew it off......"i'll see him next time"
One of the best concerts I have ever seen was out here at Raley Field....a small minor league baseball stadium. The great Jackson Browne opened for him and he was later joined by Stevie Nicks who sang Happy Birthday to him and sang several songs with him. It was the first concert I took my son too. Petty was interactive with the fans and so very gracious...thanking them throughout the set which was full of hits and his band is so tight.....outstanding group. As tight and musically sound as the Eagles when they performed.
