about the only books I've REALLY read since becoming an adult (two weeks ago!) are:
Jaws, of course.. in this case, the movie was SO much better than the book.. and, my REAL suggestion -
Papillon - yes, the old story of Henri Charriere that was made into a movie that was not NEARLY as good as the book.. Really a VERY good story, and, yes, like the book Jaws, I have read Papillon at least 30 times... I literally read the cover off my book...
