The ol'e A-4 Skyhawks

I've seen the Blues Angels a few time , the first time was when they still flew old A-4 Skyhawks , By the time I had joined the Navy , the Navy had already pretty much phased out the A-4 , but the Blue Angels were still using them , and this was the mid to late 80's, but by the time I had gotten out of the Navy , the Blue Angels had made the switch

I still think they put on a better show with the old A4 , much smaller plane , the things could turn on a dime , and their wasn't as much down time waiting for them to turn around and come back

The F-18's are cool , but man !!! , they did some pretty amazing @#$%& in them old A-4's
