Not sure why... maybe because they're 'blue', my favorite color. Maybe it's the name.
I have not seen them in many MANY years, however. The Thunderbirds I see somewhat often.
I know I've mentioned this, several times I think.. but what the hell. Being in a very remote area and quite close to Lemoore Naval Air Base, (by plane anyway), they practice right over the top of my house often. Dogfights, and I LOVE THEM.... as soon as I hear them overhead I grab my lawnchair and it's ON... I don't come back into the house until they've quit for the day. - JamesJM
