With ya on that one..

Bad weather is kind of exciting to me, and yeah, an F-4 or 5 tornado destroyed our town in '79, so I've experienced it.. Thunderstorms, lightning, hail etc... yeah, I get Gator - its destroys stuff and there's nothing you can do about it, but.. its still pretty exciting.. Never been IN a hurricane, although I've actually flown OVER one..

I think I told that story before.. I used to check the weather in Mexico daily before trips there, but would completely stress out at every little cloud.. So.. one trip I promised myself I wouldn't watch the weather there.. So, we take off around 7am and as we get over the Gulf of Mexico, it suddenly gets almost pitch black outside.. I'm thinking, WTH? So, the pilot comes on the intercom and calmly says, "we're currently flying over Hurricane so and so" - can't remember the name..

So, quite surprised at that point.. It was sunny the entire week in Mexico, but so ridiculously windy that pretty much everything sucked...
