I misread your post and thought you were saying KBF
58) wasn't going to be showing the Rams games. As long as I can get the Rams games, I think I'll be fine without the NFL Ticket this year.
Of course, once I don't renew the Ticket, I'll lose the NFL Channel(212) which means I won't be able to watch the replays. Not sure which package I'd have to order to get that channel but I am sure it'll make my bill jump. I'm going with the Family Package right now and they gave me a couple rebates which lowered my regular bill to around $27. It's basically just the local channels but that's fine with me.
Sadly, when I was ready cancel DirecTV a couple of weeks ago the service rep sliced and diced my bill down to an acceptable level and told me to just call back in August and they'd be able to add the NFL Ticket for the $27/month package that she put together. I called today and they cheerily said F You. AT&T don't play that. They could take 20% off the full price of the ticket so I'd have 6 monthly payments of $39.99 but that was it. I told her that wasn't what I was told and regardless, I just can't afford an $80+ bill for tv this year during football season. Not to mention, even if they did honor what they just told me, I'd still have to go without MNF.
I've enjoyed having DirecTV for the past 14 years but there are too many alternatives to watch NFL games that aren't so expensive. Now that it's AT&T, it's going to keep getting worse too. They don't even care if I cancel my whole service, much less the Ticket. I was loyal to DirecTV but I won't be to AT&T. @#$%& phone companies.
