I had to do some research and I did discover that a Rams horn could actually look similar to a letter C, as in the Pics posted in this thread.
A young Ram will have horns that stop short of a curlicue (IE: letter C) while an older Ram around the age of 8-9 will have horns that fully curl.
So, that could explain the letter C in a way but how does it explain the failed 3-D look or a crescent moon?
Good research Killrazor. That's kinda what I thought. So, does that make us
"baby" Rams since we now have the "C"? "
Underdeveloped" Rams? "
Pre Adolescent" Rams?
What a shame.
All of the above, Ramsdude. I'd throw "Millennial Rams" in there as well.
I guess they are catering to the young fans they hope will be attracted to the new look.
If this was the 80's again and I have just discovered the NFL, I don't know if I'd fall in love with these current horns like I did the traditional curlicue ones.
The old horns blew me away as a kid. It was love at first sight and quickly became a passion of mine to try and draw them on pretty much everything including school notebooks, folders, and poster boards. I couldn't get enough of them.
Btw, as long as we don't hear anything about being called l-ambs or goats, I'm fine being called baby Rams ect.
