I've been lucky enough to go to about 20 games at Fenway over the years. My in-laws had season tickets for 35 years and eventually were moved up to about 15 rows above the visiting (3rd base) dugout. The only postseason professional sports game I've been to was a 1999 ALDS game there and it was great. It's a unique and cool atmosphere especially when the weather is good. They have done a good job renovating it the past decade as best they can in limited space while maintaining the history of it. If anyone has never been that likes baseball they should.
Admittedly over time I've become more annoyed by the 'charm' of the old uncomfortable seats. I go to a game now maybe every three years and by the 3rd inning I'm like "oh yeah, this is why I only come here every 3 years..."
Also been able to see Pearl Jam (twice) and Tom Petty play there- great summer concert venue on the field.
To me one of the best things about Fenway Park (like Wrigley) is getting to the game early and going to the surrounding neighborhood bars and restaurants and then walking in. Something sorely missing at places like Dodger Stadium.
