Thanks Deadpool, great analysis and I agree with most of it, well nobody is perfect are they!
I don't think we resign Fowler or Littleton, I think letting them walk was always part of the plan. I would love to keep both but I just don't see anyone getting a big contract this offseason unless its an extension for Kupp but I doubt that will happen till next year.
Whit resigning would be good for the team although there is a little sentimentality behind that choice. I still think he is a very solid LT and I love him as a mentor to the younger guys. I hope they can find a coaching role for him when he finally does retire. I am not sure what to do at centre, I am not against extending Blythe but at the same time I do like some of the draft options, at the end of the day they seem to like Blythe so I guess they resign him.
Christian, Zurlein and Weddle make sense. What about Matthews? I like Clay but I wonder if there might be a cheaper option in free agency, also can Obo or Ebu step up. I wasn't expecting too much from either last season but both had moments this season that made me think they might make a bigger impact in 20. What do you think?
I'm not sure about Beesley, I have a feeling he will get a pretty decent contract somewhere and that will rule him out for the Rams.
I think our priority in the draft will be Oline, Dline and Edge. I think TE is set assuming that we resign Mundt and do not trade Everett, I do think trading Everett should be explored but I am not sure if we would get enough to make it worthwhile. I have not given up on Henderson yet so the question is do we keep Brown, if yes then I think RB will be a late round option, if we do cut Brown then I think the 4th round would probably be right. I do think we will trade back from 52 but hopefully not too far. I am not sure if ILB will be a high priority in the draft although there are questions to be answered. I was very happy with the Kiser pick but obviously he has not had a lot of D snaps. I still think he will be a solid LB. Can Howard make an impact? Reeder and Young are decent backups, I am just not convinced that the ILB is a high priority with the FO.
1st pick, I was originally going with Fotu but I am now leaning towards either Edge or Cushenberry. Cushenberry would be my preference just now but I am not sure if they will go Centre with their first pick and I am not sure if he will be there at 84. Ruiz and Biadasz would be good options at Centre but Cushenberry is my first choice. I am not sure what Edge prospects will be there when we pick but I think Anae and Baun would be options for our first pick.
In the end I would go with Cushenberry but I think the Rams go Edge.
2nd pick, I would love Fotu to be there at our second pick but I do not think that is realistic, I do like Bartch who had a very good Pro Bowl, but I would prefer him as our 3rd pick, although that might be pushing it. I do think IDL should be addressed with this pick but I am not totally sold on anyone who might still be available unless Fotu somehow falls to us. Alton Robinson is an interesting option at Edge
3rd/4th pick, I would be very happy with Brederson or Bartch here but I am not sure if we draft 2 OL and sign Blythe, I wouldn't be against it but I am not sure the FO would invest that much in the OL. RB would make sense here especially if we do not keep Brown, Perine would be great but McFarland from Maryland could be an interesting project, he has the speed. Douverney out of Texas is an interesting prospect at WR. I also like Troy Dye and Evan Weaver at ILB but I am not convinced the FO will pick ILB this high.
Overall I would be very happy with you picks Deadpool, things should start to become a bit clearer after free agency. The only thing I don't agree with you is Hav, I like Hav and I think he will be back to best. The whole OLine was shaky at the start of 19 and I don't think he was 100% fit. I do think he is a better RT that Evans although Evans has definite potential.
Keep up the good work Deadpool, your info is invaluable.
