Thank you. Always appreciate the work. And also the perspective of trying to make some free agent assumptions going in. Personally I wonder if they'd really let all three defensive starters walk away but maybe they do. Maybe for this year it really is about keeping a handful of guys that are less expensive (Whitworth, Blythe, Zuerlein, Christian) and adding a mid-tier Edge guy externally. Load up on several high 2021 comp. picks.
Either way I would hope their top 2-3 selections, wherever they fall, are concentrated on the OL and defensive front seven. I would simply not touch a RB in the top 120-130 picks (so not until the 4th round comp. minimum).
I see the logic of Fotu though I don't know much about him. Do you see SJD and/or Gaines sliding over to Brockers' DE spot then? Biadasz, Cushenberry and Ruiz all really intrigue me which is why I wonder if they try to hold off on a decision about Blythe until after the Draft. Maybe someone else signs him along the way, maybe not. I think whether it's at 52 or after a trade back they need to get a real
value pick- a guy that is rated 10-20 spots higher that has slipped, like Rapp a year ago.
I'll say I'm not excited about Bartch. Again, know nothing of him but I just wouldn't use their 2nd selection on a D3 OT with two years experience at the position. Late 4th? Sure.
I like Bredeson a lot...
Perine- at that spot, yes.
Thanks again! Really helpful learning about some of these guys.
