For the Rams to go in to next season with GURLEY as our #1 RB.........That would repeat this year and simply can't happen.
Soooooooo,
Option #1.......Henderson knows the playbook and pass pro, and gets a full off season of NFL weight training and comes in ready to be the Rams #1 RB.
Option #2......Rams will trade for a RB.....OR......Draft a RB to come in and compete vs. Henderson for the #1 RB position.
Then, Gurley has to either.........Have a miraculous recovery and KEEP RB#1 status.....Or, accept the fact he's #2 RB and is getting paid like a #1 RB.
