and every other big bodied WR in the draft and in every draft going forward for the forseeable future. If you cannot show the ability to separate during a live game, it doesn't matter what you run in the 40 or what your splits are or your 3 cone. If I have learned anything over the course of the last few years (and I bet Alyo will say the same thing) is that just because you are big with a huge catch radius and make plays all over the field, if you cant separate, you are dropping in the draft.
Examples of this over the past few years: Equanimeous St. Brown -6th round, Marcel Ateman 7th round, Allen Lazard UDFA, Ricky Seals-Jones UDFA. Heck even Metcalf slipped this year due to concerns about getting separation.
I think Joe Reed is a late round pick in a deep WR class. He is kind of raw as a WR, but electric in the return game and that alone should get him drafted. He's kind of a Tavon Austin type where a good OC will need to scheme him the ball and let him work in the open field. At least early in his career.
Juwan Johnson does nothing for me. When I look at WRs, I am looking for route running ability and hands. You need 1 to make it in the NFL at least. He has neither and regardless of whether he is a WR or TE, I hate his hands.
Perry is a work in progress you can only speculate on and I have no idea where he goes in the draft, but it'll be late.
As far as the Rams only having 4 there, I'm not shocked. The talent level there this year is not where it has been in the past and I'm thinking the Rams need more ready now players, then projects they can build up.
