I'm far from a conspiracy theorist on this stuff, but the fact is, we'll never really know as the evidence was destroyed long ago.
But there's only one report that says the Rams were taped. So the belief the Rams were taped is based only on that, and the guy who says the Rams were taped says it was the redzone plays. So believng the Rams were taped at all has the exact same and only source that says it was the redzone plays.
Regardless of all that, we will never truly know the facts, its that simple. Just because there was a single source who stated something, we have no way of knowing if there is any truth to his statements. There certainly could be other sources that have stayed quiet.
I'm not saying that anything one way or another is a certainty, BUT we will never truly know and that is the only fact we do know.
A single source with no other corroborating sources or evidence rarely holds up in a court of law.
