...an arrogant/elitist beach statement, I know. But an honest one!! lol
All these beaches get better going south: Huntington, Newport, Corona del Mar, Laguna... all the way down to Capistrano....
glorious scenery overlooking the ocean and lot less people!!!
everything is 10min south from each other...and the best beaches. I seriously suggest getting a hotel in Laguna off Pacific Coast Highway...
then driving up on game day. Sorry to the other beaches but getting a hotel on Corona del Mar or Laguna beats all others and would be unbelievable time spent away from the 5hours of game day. Watch the sunsets and stick yer toes into the icy glory of the Pacific!!!!!!
Google Earth it and look and see if yer interested....I'd say Laguna and anything North or South of it for 20min drive. Remember, you'll only be in traffic hell for game day.... and the rest time will be like a tropical vacation....not really but almost. Great food, restaurants and rocky coves. check it out!!
